Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actress, narrator and writer for over thirty years. Duff was a graduate of Drama Centre London in 1990, made her first television appearances with Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on 08 October 1970, in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an English screen and stage actress. Her first major role was Fiona Gallagher from the UK television series Shameless in the series' initial two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) was the next, and she played the role of Queen Elizabeth. The television series From Darkness (2013) also featured the role of the protagonist. Duff appeared in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters Scandal (2007), Notions on a Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) and Suffragette (2005). In 2015, The Virgin Queen, Shameless The Virgin Queen, Nowhere Boy Suffragette, and The Last Station have earned her BAFTA nominations as Best Actress as well as Best Supporting Actress. The History of Mr Polly (2007) was her BAFTA Cymru Award-winning performance in Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her professional career has included performances on radio, television and theater with equal aplomb. Her roles in Shameless (a British comedy-drama TV series) and The Virgin Queen, a television miniseries about The Virgin Queen, a miniseries on television about Elizabeth I garnered her mainstream notoriety.
